Yes, I'm pretty sure you can. You can certainly connect to the internet via a bluetooth phone (I know several people that do this regularly). You should also be able to apply exactly the technique applied above to work over bluetooth instead of firewire, thereby connecting two computers by bluetooth.

  Yes, you can do it, though it isn't super easy. Check out my site: http://3650anda12inch.blogspot.com
  In the left column of the site, there is a group of Apple Scripts called Share2blue2th, complete with a thorough Read Me file, that let's you share the computer's internet connection via bluetooth. It is intended for sharing the connection to a bluetooth enabled cell phone (like the Nokia 3650), but you could easily set your computer to connect via a bluetooth connection to this shared connection as if it were a bluetooth capable phone's connection. I know I have instructions on how to do this here:
  
  You should be able to use the scripts on one computer along with these instructions on the other to get it working. Although I myself have not done this, I know some of my readers have and have seen report of it in some of the discussions that I link to.

  I tried, but the Internet connection can only be shared through Ethernet, FireWire, and AirPort. Strangely, sharing via Bluetooth is not an option.

  I m using that scripts to share web connection and it works with my nokia 3650 and my iMac G3.
  Putting the MAC address of my iBook into the script to share ethernet connection will probably result in a persistent connection from iMac to iBook... but how to tell to the iBook to look at that connection for web surfing??

  if sharing an internet connection is not possible, can I connect two macs using bluetooth for normal Appletalk or TCP/IP ?

  For file transfer using Bluetooth, you can use the Bluetooth File Exchange application found in /Applications/Utilities.

  Is it really impossible to share internet connection via bluetooth? Next option is sharing it through firewire, the question is does the OSX 10.2.8 support IP through firewire?

  as the post states Im stuck as a "rogue" server! I've encrypted the airpor .. but bleeping name pops up and I'm still on "internet sharing" .. i can't use my bleeping airport! can anyone instruct me to kll the internet sharing altogether? (w/out wiping my HD) much appreciated .. I can't get online ....(w/my airport card that is) -- creativemf at gmail.com
