I know that this message will most likely never be read, but I disagree with the author on one point. The fact that microsoft might be "a potential aid to terrorism." This seems like a low blow--some form of McCarthyism. I think it would be best to leave it at "windows is insecure by design."

Uh.. I think you're mistaken. Tim said Microsoft is pouring money into framing *open source* as a potential aid to terrorism. He didn't say Microsoft is.

WRT Terrorism --I completely agree. It has replaced Hitler as the trigger word for invoking Godwin's Law.
