I spent a whole day trying to make QT work in Java. Finally I stumbled upon your article. It seemed the answer to my prayers, however my app still doesn't work. It compiles but generates exeptions at runtime:
java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: com/apple/mrj/macos/carbon/CarbonLock
at quicktime.jdirect.QTNative._getLock(QTNative.java:111)
at quicktime.jdirect.QTNative.<clinit>(QTNative.java:105)
at quicktime.QTSession.<clinit>(QTSession.java:114)


I thought it must have been the 1.4.1 problem. Interestingly I don't get it as an option for the target VM even though I installed it.
Any help?

    ok, I figured it out, kinda ... The problem is not the compilation it's the appletviewer. I can compile with any target version, it doesn't seem to make a difference. But 1.4.1 viewer becomes default. I've changed the viewer and now I have different problems to solve :) I am still not sure what it means for PCs and the web.
