I dont think so. That's why Webmol is interesting since you can use it on MacOSX too

thanks for the pointing out this erratum.
this is correct (especially considering that apple doesn't support j3d). webmol is an excellent example of a java-based pdb viewer - and i agree that it is interesting - especially, considering that it was built with jdk 1.02.
