use my i sight as a speaker phone. imagine having the phone line plugged into your mac and dialing from your address book and on screen caller id/answer functionality. the audio input from the i sight is terrific. i know this is not so i sight dependant or related but it is something i would love to use.

I know this isn't exactly what you're asking for, but you might want to take a look at PhoneValet. It's pretty cool... -

Has anyone had any luck finding a Mac Speakerphone application? For some reason they appear to be nonexistent. I'm trying to create a home theater/pvr/telephone/web surfing station and this is a key piece for me. Plenty of phone answering systems, and plenty of VoIP speakerphones, but no POTS speakerphones for Mac. -

a bit pricey, but somewhat cool. I would like to see something integrated a bit tighter with abress book and with the afore mentioned speakerphone capability.
