Derrick, Thanks for another great article! I must say that I find your pieces on digital media on the MacDevCenter superb. It's great to have such a practical emphasis. One thing that did suprise me about this piece was that you didn't mention Boinx's iStopMotion <www.istopmotion.com>, which, in the most basic form, is free. They have an excellent set of pages on their site, full of enthusiasm, about time lapse photography. Having used iStopMotion, but not BTV (which sounds excellent), I would have been interested in a comparison between the two. Any thoughts? Anyway, here's to lots more stuff on digital media on the Mac - perhaps even a Quicktime Cookbook or QuickTime Hacks book! Cheers! Martin.

Actually, I'm very aware of iStopMotion. The only reason why I didn't cover it in this piece, or have written specifically about it (yet), is because they have entered the Mac OS X Innovators Contest, and we're in the final stages of judging the third round. I could, however, write about iRecordNow because it isn't an entry (although they probably should have entered it). Once the winners are announced in October at the Mac OS X Conference, all bets are off and I can cover some of these apps I've been sitting on.
