At least for Mandrake users.. Urpmi works much like apt-get for Debian, and figures out dependencies automatically, all you have to do is add sources. There are few "annoyances" in Linux because if something's annoying for no reason, it eventually gets FIXED. If it's annoying for a reason, it just means you need to learn something. |

Family tree software, CD-track loggers, video-splicers, etc. Couldn't get 'em to work ... so I just sometimes book into Win98 and use the programs that I used to use.
I *never* had problems installing stuff in Windows. Pity Linux can't be like that!
