There seems to be a little bit missing in JSF as far as I can see: 1. Client side event handling - why go to server everytime something changes? A whole bunch of functionality can be done at the client and JSF should provide a mechanism to do this. It seems like a big waste of time. 2. Richer interaction between client and server.each control on the pages should be able to deal with events and their state independently of the whole page. This will allow a much richer experience and remove the annoying refreshes.
