Being very new to BLOGING, I have a few questions. What makes BLOGING different from Chat Rooms? Having limited experience with Chat Rooms and after reading your excellent article I can see some differences, however I would like to know your input on the subject. Also since I have never tried a Weblog site (at least not that I know of), how do I find BLOG sites that I might be interested in? Is there some sort of BLOG directory? I am not new to the Internet but BOLG is a term I have seen very little of until recently. I very seldom go into or even “Skulk” chat rooms because I find it hard to keep up with all the shortcuts, acronyms emcons, and shorthand used, I don’t see any of this in the posting to this site. Do BLOGs use these types of communication? |

I don't mean to be rude but what does that have to do with anything? Seriously, maybe I am missing something here? Being a woman with a wonderful loving boyfriend I can testify that not all guys lie! Maybe you should try some new places to meet men. Or give up completely and hit up some chicks, it worked for me! Anyways, good luck Takira :) -

guys are so stupid and they lie because most of the time they feel superior to girls and think they neeed to show off there leading skills i guess there isnt really an answer because thats the way it is. we have to deal with it as it comes! Good luck to yall girls ;)

Guys are so stupid and they lie because they think since they were put on this earth first, they can rule us girls. It f***ing sucks if you ask me. I hate how us girls get treated differently just because some of us like to be pretty and make sure our hair is done right! (SO WHAT, right?) Also guys can be intimidated by girls and so they think it might ruin their ego if a girl does something better than them. Its BS!!!! -

they lie because they don't think about anyone but thierselves. they don't care about girls feelings. they don't understand anything!!! my boyfriend is a huge asshole and he never listens to me. the main reason is they don't care about anything else other than what they want to do! -

what the hell is wrong with you girls. if your boyfriend is an asshole and you dont like being lied to then leave. its your fault for letting them treat you that way. i think you have some serious self esteem issues. and not all guys are liars there are some decent guys out there -

Men only need a place to put their brain. As long as their brain is getting wet they are happy. Woman always want and need more than any man could ever give us. It's so simple to make a woman happy that a man just can't seem to fill the order. Woman are strong and men are weak. Men cry and complain when they are in pain. Woman can have pain and work and clean the house and take care of the kids and the list of work with pain goes on and on with out a complaint hardly. When men get sick....god for bid...they can't get out of bed and work...but when women are sick with a cold....we go to work and still cook dinner. I personally, never want to be equall to a man. It's the man that needs to be equall to a woman. -

And yet it still seemsthe vast majority of women on this web board are whinning. Tell me, instead of continuing this immature battle trying to determine which sex is more dominant, take a breath, and realize you can't characterize an entire gender just because of some sterotypical follies.
ladies, remember when you made a commitment to your mates, and ask yourself if it has all been worth it. if not, i'm afraid i'l be hard but you wold probaly be better off not dating that guy that lies all the time.
and "monatakenoshit", quit thinking girls are the best. They need males. and males need females.
I COULD say that all girls do is shop, buy shoes, and put on makeup, but that's not true at all. hoep you get the point.

Usually chat room messages disappear after the chat is over, although in some cases the text can be archived on a serve.
blogs are meant to be published and visible at all times, either in a private blog space or a public blog space. You can see the text of all members of a particular blog. The blogs are categorized according to dates, titles, names (whatever the administrator of that blog sets up.) Blogs can be edited, chat rooms discussions cannot.
