| I'm not sure I quite get your drift here. How do you propose to view .mpgs if you don't use a media player of some type or browser plug-in? QuickTime plays .mpgs quite well. | ||

I think his point is to use a neutral format (.mpg) so that it doesn't *matter* which viewer or plug-in the visitor uses. Don't lock your visitors in to Real, QuickTime, or Windows Media: use a neutral format (mpeg) that will work with any player.
