You can't get any better than Perforce. I'm very pleased that Perforce offers all of their producs for Mac OS X and that they now have a GUI. Plus when every time I call them with a question they are always very helpful.

Perforce isn't a second rate tool and we should give them an opportunity to see a little return on their investment by making sure Mac users know it is available. If after seriously evaluating Perforce it isn't the right tool for you fine, but, any honest evaluation of SCM for Mac OS X isn't complete with out looking at Perforce.

At $750/user I'll stick with CVS.

My words... I've switched from CVS to Perforce some months ago and I didn't regret it for just one second ever since...

It's a very nice system, you've got CLI, Web and GUI interfaces to it and what I really like about it is that it doesn't put any metadata in your workspace (sandbox, whatever you call it). Forget all the problems with CVS and NIB files and using cvswrappers etc...

Plus it runs on probably every platform you'll encounter....
