We still lack a more sophisticated version control system such as ClearCase for example. CVS as a number of annoyance on large teams. Especially is you had several people working on the backend and several on the front end in multiple teams.

    You can't get any better than Perforce. I'm very pleased that Perforce offers all of their producs for Mac OS X and that they now have a GUI. Plus when every time I call them with a question they are always very helpful.

    Perforce isn't a second rate tool and we should give them an opportunity to see a little return on their investment by making sure Mac users know it is available. If after seriously evaluating Perforce it isn't the right tool for you fine, but, any honest evaluation of SCM for Mac OS X isn't complete with out looking at Perforce.
