I wish the author had rather spoken about Obj, and how it works, what its benefits are, and how its locking mechanism works, instead of giving a rather tedious example - at the end of which I know little more than I did before. How does it compare to JDO? How does it compare to Castor? How does it compare to Hibernate. Why should we use it instead of the others? What are the benefits and downsides? These are the important questions, not a simple example... Jon |
