It appears something has stripped double-quotes from your code, making your code samples non-compilable. For example:
public String getName() { return TracingInterceptor; }


UPDATE: I guess it's not just double quotes, this is non-compilable too:


public class Tracing
{
public void enableTracing();
public void disableTracing();
}


it should be


public interface Tracing


Don't get me wrong, I love the article! I just thought if you have the option to fix the code so it compiles, you might want to.

    Yeah, I noticed the same today. If you download the standalone JBoss AOP framework, the onjava examples are part of the documentation. I've asked the editor to fix these problems.
