| We were just talking about a related topic yesterday and I think it is appropriate to note that for all their differences today's present crop of 3rd and 4th GLs function at about the same level. Fred Brooks pointed this out many years ago in "No Silver Bullet", IEEE Computer. I said it once (IEEE Computer May 1999, Letters to the Editor) and I'll say it again: every programmer needs to read the Brooks article. | ||
