Subject:   Virtual host ssl?

I.m tring to secure our site at work. We received our cert from Verisign and their tell me to add these 3 line to the Virtual Host directive.
SSLCertificateFile /etc/ssl/crt/public.crt
SSLCertificateKeyFile /etc/ssl/crt/private.key
SSLCertificateChainFile /etc/ssl/crt/intermediate.crt

I'm not quit sure where in the httpd.conf to add these. Verisign is telling me anywhere but when I add the three lines and try to stop and restart apache it just hangs and I have to force quit, delete the three lines, then restart to get Apache back up and running.

What am I doing wrong?

I'm using a G-4 with OSX 10.2

Thanks for any help,

I had the hang problem but for just turning virtual hosting on. the Web Sharing would hang with "Web Sharing starting up" and never finish. so I restarted then turned off web sharing and did the edit and it turned on without hanging.
try that. hope it works for you.
