OK... The file permissions for my index.php file did not have read access for it. I fixed this and all worked fine. Not sure why the permissions were messed up though.

    I got nearly to the end of your tutorial and when you said 'save the configuration file' it would not permit me to, or to even over-write the file.
    I checked the preferences in my text editor which seemed to allow writing and over-writing.
    Consequently, when i went to complete the php test it didn't show the php with the main 'Gleefully...' message.

    I am running OS10.2.8 on a dual boot G4, using Safari as the browser. I'm NOT technical so please use language I can understand!

    I've a problem with "include ()" and "Failed opening..", too. Or my permissions are write/read.
    When I use RELATIVE or FULL addressing in the "include ()", everything is fine. When I use ROOT addressing - I get no includes.

    What I'm missing ?
