Does anyone know of any free Windows NFS clients? Something that can mount NFS shares on a Windows XP box and transfer files between them?

There is a solution offered by Microsoft it self for free... but you may don't agree on their licences. Look for their migration tool from Unix to Windows... You may find the solution you where looking for.

      http://www.microsoft.com/windows/sfu/default.asp

It's free from microsoft, but you have to provide personal information (address).

Supposedly it includes an NFS gateway, server, client, etc... I haven't used it yet, but I hope this helps.

Unfortunately for the grandparent poster and for myself, I've just discovered that windows SFU won't install on XP Home edition. It won't even try, actually, it just pops up a dialog stating that fact & quits.

I'll post further if I find something that works.

I found the download page for Windows Services for UNIX Version 3.5

              http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyID=896C9688-601B-44F1-81A4-02878FF11778&displaylang=en

I couldn't find any kind of "permalink" so it might not work forever but I found it just by going to their site and searching for it.

              Happy hunting...
