It is not clear how one configures aspire for a database to get HDS. The examples presented in the article retrieve data from ASCII files.


Just to be sure, by hierarchical you mean, each level in the hierarchy contains rows of data (relational data).


Also, there seem to be two distinct concepts in the article: a) retrieving multiple relational datasets in hierarchies and b) transforming this hierarchical data set into multiple output formats using JSP. I wish they were separated out.
