I also found the new UPNP "feature" enabled by default after upgrading a LinkSys device. How did I notice, well is seems that my wife's XP laptop and the LinkSys were only too happy to open up several holes to attempt to grant some "unidentified" machines access to the laptop's harddrive via UPNP.
