I have developed a system that polls the server every second using this RPC technique. It works great, but the "start navigation" sound, a "click" on my PC, sound every time I do. Also the cursor changes from an arrow to an arrow with an hourglass. Then there is the URL of the server procedure flashing by in the status bar.
