First, have you tried http://localhost on the apache server machine itself? If you see the TESTPAGE, then the daemon is running, and you have done something right <grin>! Next, what did you assign for a servername in httpd.conf? try using your Server's static IP address (don't use DHCP on your router, use static mappings) for a servername. then try to access it from your local network. If this all works, go to your firewall and open port 80 to the server ip. then use your browser and type in HTTP://XXX.XXX.XXX.XXX where the mask represents your REAL (internet ISP assigned) IP Address.

    The real problem is via the ISP provider, i have the same problem and it still wont connect. My ISP blocks the port 80. And everytime i change the file with a new port adress. The internal adress or still works. How come the apache server does not change it s settings to the port 8080 i have assign it inside the file?
