| The question of storing hierarchical data in a relationship model has been around for a long time. Joe Celko has a book out which addresses this topic extensively. David Rozenshtein supposedly published an entire book on this subject. I can't seem to find it anywhere. Leads on this book would be greatly appreciated. O'Reilly actually publishes a book Mastering Oracle SQL which also contains an extensive discussion on this topic. | ||
