Another thing is that Exolab does state that Castor JDO is not an implmentaion of Sun's Java Data Objects spec.

With that said, I find it hard to believe that "lead architects of several leading application server vendors" did not check things out throughly enough to know that it was not an implementaion of the spec. Perhaps the author could list those companies and architects for reference :)
