Sanjoy Chaterjee, a professional photographer, gave up the conventional logic of an MBA to follow the Inner eye at the Parsons School of Design, New York City. He now lives in New Delhi. Specializing in advertising, fashion, people and fine art, his photographs have won him an entry in the One Show, Neil French's Top 50 Campaigns (Twice), New York festival, A&M Best Photography Award of the Year - 1999 (Gold and Silver), CAG, Abby, 3As of I. Exhibitions in major cities of India followed. An avid experimenter, Sanjoy occasionally takes time out from his commercial commitments to pursue a range of personal projects. His love for children has inspired him to document the life of a 12-year-old boy, published in 'If I were rain'; a book celebrating the spirit of India's urban disadvantaged children.
