this book was so good that i had to have the companion book on InDesign, even though i have used indesign regularly for several years.
i really appreciated the explanation that went with the steps so i could understand what i was doing. most step-by-step books just say click here, click there but don't tell you why. this book will serve as a great reference.
my only complaint is all the keyboard shortcuts in the video -- i felt it was redundant to hear them so many times. and beginners don't need to memorize a lot of keyboard shortcuts before they understand the software. i don't use photoshop often enough to memorize the shortcuts. summary - coverage of keyboard shortcuts in the book is fine, but leave out all but the basics in the video.
one more complaint - why doesn't he have a book on dreamweaver!
