This is a great, clear read by someone who has clearly been through the process and has distilled the most important issues and points for freelancers. It is written in a nice easy ready conversational style.

The content of the book is such that anyone who is considering freelancing can get lots out of it, regardless of their area of expertise.

It covers everything from deciding the type of work to pursue and undertake to the importance of cashflow, getting paid, how to engage with clients and more. But at a level that enables you to get the key important points that you need.

The single most valuable thing for me out of this book is the fantastic list of website references throughout the book. This in particular is just gold in saving countless hours searching for types of systems and support tools and information that you can use immediately. The price of the book is recouped many times over in this alone.

If there is a criticism at all, I finished the book thinking perhaps that I would be ready for another level of depth in about 12 months or so of trading. Maybe a Principles 2 book or a accompanying workbook should be in the wind...
