I just bought an iMac less than 6 weeks ago. Not having a manual, I ordered 'The Missing Manual' Mac OS X Leopard lastmonth, but it has a 2007 copyright date. I see that the same manual is now listed with a 2008 date - did I not get the most current manual?

Also on page 379 of the above manual it indicates that all new Mac's come with 'iLife', containing iMovie and iPhoto. I do not see this oin my 3.06 24" iMac, but the book further states that a '...basic getting- started ...' .pdf file can be downloaded free. So how do I get this? I have not been able to make a connection on your site for this. Please advise.

"The preeminent general reference source for Mac OS X has always been the Missing Manual Series written by David Pogue. The latest iteration in the series is its Mac OS X Leopard Edition, completely revised, and it is the biggest, most comprehensive, and most useful of all the editions in the series."
