O'Reilly's response to my review demonstrates why this one book won't alter my faith in O'Reilly as a publisher - within hours of submitting my review I received e-mail regretting that I was unhappy with the book, information about O'Reilly's satisfaction guarantee, *and* the review was posted and is the top of the listed reviews.
I should also add that there was a lot of good information in the book on composition, utilizing various mostly-automatic camera modes, etc. I will probably be keeping it, but looking to see what else will take me on the next step.
