What a shame that the authors cannot accept that VB is still out there and will be for a long time. Why couldn't they at least include VB code in the source code download? There's still a lot of goodness here, but without the VB code available, it's only half a book: a 6 of 10 rating at best. With the VB code, maybe even a 9 of 10. C#'ers will probably be very pleased. VB'ers might give the ASP.NET 2.0 Cookbook (O'Reilly) a look instead. |
