Once you've completed the exams successfully, you will find this Short Cut to be a valuable reference to core Windows administration and security skills. The document uses the same successful format found in MCSE Core Required Exams in a Nutshell by William Stanek."
The pdf description is very accurate. This book looks like it is in at least the third printing, so many people have purchased it. I used this as a stand alone for the test. I took each section in a sifferent order and reviewed the highlighters section seven times, then read the rest of the book for that test, then took the practice exam, then took the real thing. No problem.
One really unique thing about the pdf is how easy it is to make notecards. If you copy and paste the answer to the questions in detail from the pdf, they are to memorize when you only have a few minutes in line here or a car ride there. No long hand and long times to create your cards.
The style was very easy to read. No awkward sentences or hard concepts that were not easily explained in the next few sentences. These authors have this process down to a science.
our stars because it is hard for a book like this to be definitive, else five stars.
