I really like this book because I'm a beginner at InDesign and it covers many of the technical capabilities of the Application. This book is also well organized for quick refrence. This book does have a large shortcoming though, it does not get into the creative side of page layout. In fact the examples are just that, examples. They don't provide any design inspiration. You would not see any of the examples in a magazine or other publication.
