I am an amatuer web designer. I bought this book hoping to learn Javascript. What I got was a book with clunky examples that had obviously not been edited well. To make many of the examples work I had to figure things out on my own since the book's examples and the code on the cd didn't always work. (Perhaps that was part of the teaching strategy) In the end I got disgusted with it ad set it aside. I am buying some other books on Javascript that, hopefully, will not lead me back to an encounter with this one. |
