This book is a terrific way to learn how to write code with RealBasic. It was so easy to use this book that I can't believe I was ever intimidated by the idea of writing GUI based programs. I did have to sit down for a while and really concentrate, but with the investment of just a few afternoons, I was on my way to coding like a pro. And I have never looked back! Most of all, I like the systematic way in which this book first describes paradigms such as "classes" and "methods" and THEN gives you some sample code to type in. Once you do this for a few chapters, everything starts to make sense, and you are on your way. Again: well done book... a blessing! |
