James has done it again. First it was Visual Studio Hacks--now Windows Developer Power Tools. This time he added Jim Holmes to help him deliver the "encyclopedia" of tools to get the development job done.
You could spend a lot of time tracking down these applications and then learning how to use them, but why? These guys have found the best of the best in open source tools to get the job done. OK, there are some tools that you can buy (like ReSharper, CodeSmith, etc.) but James puts it best--"With free tools, I can make sure everyone on my team can get a copy without breaking the bank." (not verbatim since I don't have the book in front of me)
Stop reading the reviews and just go buy it.

"...there is a boat load of tools available out there in the wild, and it's hard to decide which one could be useful for us, and this book does a great job at pointing us out to what's worth checking out."
--Claudio Lassala, Windows Live
