If you are new iPod user or need information on the newer iPods, you may want to read iPod the Missing Manual (5th Edition) by J.D. Biersdorfer ($19.99, O’Reilly, Nov. 2006, 240 pages).
If you can keep up with iPod books, the 4th edition of this title just came out 8 months ago. So why buy this latest edition? Primarily it includes information about the newer iPod nanos that were introduced in September. More complete information about video iPods is also included.
In previous the iPod: a The Missing Manual book there was emphasis on using Applescript to customize certain features. This edition shows you where to get ready-made scripts, but doesn’t detail how to create your own scripts.
