I have to agree with Doug. Grouping entries by type is like a dictionary that groups definitions by part of speech.

  • Best Case It becomes tedious to find entries when it is clear which category they belong to, since you first have to locate the category, then the entry within that group.
  • Worst Case When it is unclear what category an entry appears in, each potential category must be located, then searched for the entry.

The entries in this book may be OK, but the organization is so frustrating that the quality of the content frequently doesn't matter.
