This book is 3 years old! netBeans has changed so much that many things covered in this book no longer apply. (current stable revision is netBeans 4.0 with 4.1 beta available) e.g., Reference is made quite a lot to the Filesystems view of the NetBeans Explorer. The latest version of netBeans has changed so much that there is very little semblance to the diagrams and explanations in the book. But what do you expect from a 3 year old book. It's time for a new, updated version of this book. |
