Rating: Definitely a must-have book for Struts. Very well presented. I have been studying both the Banking and Storefront examples given in the book and available in the downloaded jakarta2ed-source.zip file, in detail and trying to work out these examples using JBoss 3.2.5, Struts 1.2, mySQL 4.0.18 and Hibernate 2.1 One place where the book lacks information is about writing the Hibernate plug-in for Struts to connect and access the data in a mySQL database. A detailed explanation on this with full code would have enhanced my learning experience.
