Rating: This book is absolutely superb. Oualline comprehensively details the C programming language and how to use it practically. Following the style and usage emphasized throughout this book will result in clear, robust, and (most importantly) buffer overflow-free code. If you are learning C, I wholeheartedly recommend this book, either instead of, or (at the very least) in addition to, the K&R.
