I was sweating on the release of the 2000 version but was disappointed once I finally got my copy. The Windows 2000 book looked to be a minor content update from the NT4 edition with a great deal of factual errors and inaccuracies. Some essential exam content was brushed over and the practice exams were not even similar to current exam format.

In fact, this lack of detail and number of errors made the book worse than useless as an exam revision tool. I ended up needing to use free cram style study guides to correct the facts and fill in the gaps.

After the high standards set by the NT4 version, the Windows 2000 edition was a major disappointment.
