I've downloaded the sample chapters from the Moock site (please add more !!) and I am very pleased with what I've read. ActionScript is my first language. Other ActionScript books on the market today give snippets of concept and teach the user a to copy specific examples. Moock actually teaches the language. He starts with an excellent overview of ActionScript in the style that Kernighan and Ritchie created for "C". The following chapters teach ActionScript from the ground up. I'll learn to program from this book.
