I would suggest that someone test the final product (book & cd) before selling it to the unsuspecting linux user who simply wants to create a cluster. I encountered an enormous amount of typos, incorrect paths as well as a bevy of general mistakes, and I quickly began to question the author. As it stands I'm stuck with a nightmare pathing problem that I must fix so that I can add my cluster and nodes via Netscape because the alternative is not available. Hindsight tells me that I should've just spent the evening at the bar with the $44.95 knowing it would have resulted with the same torturous headache and a lot less hassle. |
