The title is aptly named: very concise and readable. As an experienced Oracle7 DBA, I found this overview helpful in deciding which features to employ in moving to Oracle8i. Rather than weighing in as a monolithic reference, this book provided ample citations to more in-depth discussions about advanced topics. I'd also recommend this to IT managers who want a quick orientation to Oracle8. |
