O'reilly has filled a huge gap in Python manuals
by releasing the "Learning Python" Book.
I have the Rossum/Ahlstrom/Watters book,
which is very good also. However the "Internet
Programming with Python" book caters to the
experienced user and is a little hard to follow
for someone new to Python. Finally, there is a
book that caters to the beginner/intermediate
programmer. I highly recommend that everyone new
to Python read the "Learning Python" book first,
and then follow up with one of the more advanced
texts.
