The Web 2.0 Summit Launch Pad sessions have been so well-received that we thought it would be A Good Thing to expand the concept to some of other events. So hence the debut of ETel Launch Pad, a showcase for notable telephony-specific start-ups. We’re honored that Om Malik is spearheading this effort (as well as speaking at ETel). On another ETel note, we’ve just posted the schedule for the conference, and it looks pretty great (if I do say so myself). In addition to Om and many others, notable speakers include MySpace’s Jason Ling, Tero Ojanpera from Nokia, Yahoo!’s Jeff Bonforte, and Mark Spencer of Asterisk fame.
