We’re teaming up with the good folks at Canonical to launch Ubuntu Live, the first official gathering of Ubuntu users, contributors, and partners–and the Ubuntu-curious. Ubuntu Live will bring together Ubuntu fans from around the globe to what we’re anticipating will be the largest Ubuntu gathering yet. Ubuntu Live overlaps with OSCON to further connect Ubuntu users with the larger open source community.

The call for participation for Ubuntu Live is now open. Want to help guide the future of Ubuntu? Submit a proposal to speak at the first Ubuntu Live. Proposals are due by February 14, 2007.
