The study was flawed as they (1) did not make an attempt to make a representative sample selection (2) changed the questions of the online survey while it was active. For that reason I know (3) quite some Free Software people that refrained from participating.

  Hey I'm not anonymous and I'd like to do know why Andy Oram didn't find out about this before writing his puff piece.
  
  Personally I think we should encourage the use of open sores software in Europe - and even more so in the Middle East.
