LR has a good Import feature which is quite configurable and useful. The "watched folder" function should be only watching a folder, and when a file appears in that folder, then redirect action to the Normal Import, and then optionally removing the file. And repeat again. But no, designers have made a totally dumb Auto Import feature, where you can only set the target directory by a simple name. So if my way of work is to put pictures into folders, and those folders name are derived from the shooting date, I cannot do this with Auto Import. Typical example of improperly reinventing the wheel. |
