| I am using the PCM-D50 with the Rode NT4 without any power supply. Just put an 9volt battery in your NT4, be sure to disable the plug-in power fonction on your PCM-D50 and Voilą! The sound is just fantastic (no noise , no hum, just pure sound!) you'll love it. For micrphones like the Sony ECM-680S wich requires 48v phantom power, you will have to go with the XLR-1. The plug-in power of the PCM-D50 is not powerful enough for microphones working on externel power. | ||
